Description
The “Palo Alto Nimbostratus” is designed to capture the majesty and splendor of real atmospheric cloud formations over the Central Asian steppe – clouds that are multi-layered, fluid, and fluctuating with shadowy grey appearances mimicking cosmic turbulence. Ideal for the self-made entrepreneur who enjoys a splash of volatility and rebelliousness.
“Palo Alto Nimbostratus” is made from special karakul sheepskin: Karakul is named for a Turkem village in Central Asia, and is soft and curly with unique features not commonly seen – generally for royals.
What’s more, “Palo Alto Nimbostratus” possesses the quality of being unhampered and ambiguous. It roams the steppe like unencumbered lunar rays at night – greys, blacks and whites comingled in a single work-of-art.
The “Palo Alto Nimbostratus” – generates conversation, which is exactly what scholars, rebels, nature lovers and even wise-guys crave. A boring person will not sport a “Palo Alto Nimbostratus” – only the independent and self-assured.
Perfect for showing off around rustic mountain lodges, any outdoor activity or “power hiking” or outdoor dancing/skating. Or if one likes outdoor swank dinners around a fireplace, the “Palo Alto Nimbostratus” is picture perfect for banter and sipping wine.

The dimensions indicated for each Altaika vest (“Chest”, “Hips” and “Back”) are the measurements (in inches) of the inside of each vest at the chest (horizontal), hips (horizontal) and back (vertical). When measuring yourself, be very careful; use a tape measure.
It is recommended that you leave at least 2-4 inches from your actual body measurement to get a comfortable and loose fit, which depends on the amount of clothing underneath the vest.
Each vest will show measurements as follows:
- “Chest” measurement indicates the circumference of the inside of the vest at chest level.
- “Hips” measurement indicates the circumference of the inside of the vest at hip level.
- “Back” measurement is the vertical distance from the cross-seam at the bottom of the collar of the vest to the bottom of the vest.
